BOSCH F 000 CD0 8A1 Starter - Will it work with a Type 1 IRS?

Is anyone running this starter (Bosch SR15N) in their car? Specifically the F 000 CD0 8A1? I bought a NOS one at a VW show over the weekend and it was only once I got home did I think to check if it would work. I stopped at seeing "12v" and was happy.

Bosch SR15N should do great with Type 1 IRS manual transmissions.

The Bosch SR15N is an "unsupported starter" so uses the bushing in the transmission. So don't try to bench test it.
