What year vehicle are we talking here? Are you looking for a latch or a striker? Believe me, some people get them confused.

68 covertible. Strickers are easy to come by the door latch not so much

I have a few striker plates for 64-66 ghias.
I also have a stock pile of various latches for all years.

I’m looking for options. I have a 64 and trying to find the latch mechanism. Is it possible to change to a 69 or newer latch that is easier to find. I would change both doors over. Anyone experimented with this possible modification?
