UPDATE! A place to work has been found... we well see if it works out . so ignore this URGENT REQUEST!.
Breakdown on the road! Need to get back to California from New Orleans via I-10.
Help needed-- a place to work on engine.
I lent my camper to friend to travel from California to New Orleans, he made it there, but due to oil cooler leak he needs to pull the engine and fix before returning to California. It is leaking oil like crazy. Need to find a place where he can do the work in New Orleans or somewhere on the way back. He is an experienced mechanic. It could be accomplished in short order. If anyone knows anywhere this is can be done, please post. He is kinda stuck in New Orleans (at least he can stay in the camper, 1971 Adventure Wagon). Just need a dry place where he can work, and maybe jack stands. Any suggestions are much appreciated. <strikeout>HELP IS NEEDED RIGHT AWAY! </strikeout> |

Wonder how this situation turned out. I like New Orleans and the food we used to buy hot boudin right out somebody’s car. |

I was not aware of that site. Pretty cool. Lots of tech in there. _________________ - 1973 Thing, 1970 Ghia, some LandCruisers and an old Ambulance |
