Hello,
I have a 1974 VIN 1142390029. My engine serial number ia AE501310.
I can't seem to match up the engine with the VIN, what year is my engine?

U.S. import '74 cases are typically marked "AH".

I mix 'n' match. I can do without the EGR that came on '74s. I set my "AH" engines up as if it's '71 for the best of both worlds.
