Question for 66 owners, since this is a one-year-only issue.
So I finally got my tires mounted on my factory 66 wheels. I had bought some aftermarket 66 hubcaps and they will not fit onto the wheel no matter how hard I hit them. My OG German hubcaps fit no problem, but they're a bit too crusty to use on my car.
Do any 66 owners know of aftermarket hubcaps that will actually snap onto the 66 wheel? I don't want to waste money on another new set just to have the same problem. The ones I bought have the Wolfsburg logo instead of the VW logo- thought it'd be cool to match the steering wheel. But now I just want some that I know will actually fit

You can see the problem. Aftermarket on the left, original on the right. I don't know how they thought this thing would fit. It's not even close to the same diameter.

I just came across a small box of original 66 hub caps and I believe they are all in good condition. If you are interested let me know and I can check their condition more closely. I can make you a good deal on them, assuming they are clean enough for your Ghia.
