Do anyone know where I can buy 3” lift spindles for a 1960 bug. Or does anyone have any photos of making them from using a second pair of spindles. |

Couple guys in the classifieds sell them.
Blindchicken racing has a page on building them. _________________ "how am i supposed to torque the rear wheel nut to 250 ft lbs??? " - clonebug
An interesting thing happens in forums where everyone starts parroting the same thing and "common knowledge" takes over.
Most experts aren't. |

my advice is get Thing spindles and trailing arms. sturdier, both ball joints point the right way, speedo cable hole. I say this in part because I already have mine, so I won't be competing with anyone to buy a set. _________________ 73 Beetle Baja, Ghia front brakes, Type 3 rear brakes, 2220 ( 94 X 80 ), Weber Progressive, Bosch SVDA, '97 Mustang seats

I went through the classifieds and only see drop spindles for link pin front ends. I cannot find a supplier for raised spindles. |

I'm using K1W's 3" BJ spindles. The quality of the welds are top notch all around! |

Russell at Old Speed makes 2-1/8" link pin lift spindles. I went this route with Airkewld adjusters for 4-1/4" overall lift.
Rear will be large nut RGB's with approx 1" lift on the spring plates.
Hope this helps.

You can find lifted combo spindles. I recommend this as they are a lot stronger to take the stress of where the spindle is. Yes! You will need BJ backing plates and new tie rods and figure out modifications for your idler arm to accept the heim joint or larger style tie rod end!
I dont run lifted... but i am very happy with my combo spindles! |

I have the Kustom1 spindles on a 73 standard. Had them on for two years and love them. _________________ MattyMatt
