Lots of old posts, nothing recent, wondering what people are using and liking for a rainfly on their Westy poptop. Don't like putting a wet canvas tent away after a downpour. The only options I see are the GW WasserStopper and the Bus Depot insulated Thermal Cover and Rainfly.
Your opinions?
Any other options available?

Those insulated wraps from BD look to be for a Bay. I like the wrap I got from CVC, I added Gypsy snaps to it so I could also use a GW Wasser stopper at the same time.
The wrap or the rain fly will keep your inside much dryer feeling than without one. They will not keep it 100% dry though.
I prefer the CVC insulation over the Wasser Stopper but they both have their place.

We've been using the GW wasserstopper for a number of years. Definitely nice to have for keeping the canvas dry. Little bit of a hassle to put up, a couple of the snaps are kinda hard to reach.
On windy nights it can keep you awake flapping.
Here it is when dry.
And wet. Canvas was bone dry.
Just stuff it into a garbage bag and spread out to dry later. _________________ Currently:
