Hello:
First post and first time Vanagon owner. I’m looking for a reputable place to get my Vanagon auto transmission (090) rebuilt, near Birmingham, AL. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

if you have faceache, ask around on there, l know there's a group in pensacola,
l think their group is called emerald coast vw club, something along those lines.
they go backwards and forwards to mobile, for the occasional vw camp out.
a member of that group is Wild Bill, a stand up guy, if there's someone around, l expect Wild Bill will know who and where they are.
l'm sure there's a vw group out of mobile also, just l don't remember any of those guys. _________________ markswagen {mobile mechanic} san diego area all early VW's cared for.

Thank you for your suggestions! I will try those and see if I can come up with someone. I have the Bentley and wouldn’t mind taking a stab at it myself, but don’t have the space. |
