Hi guys, wondering what my options are for keeping the front end travel off the max travel of the ball joints. Right now they are the limiting factor which is ok but I want to install something that will pull the arms upward to keep the suspension off the end travel of the ball joints. I had wire cables but that was a pain for adjusting. What do you guys have for options on this. Thanks

You want to protect the useful range of the shock absorbers as well as the useful range of the ball joints.

A few ideas to get you started (at least this will give you some search terms to further refine your search):

Hook And Rod Suspension Stops

Suspension Limiting Strap

I run limit straps that are 1” shorter that full drop. They will stretch 1/2 inch when they hit.

A quick little video I made of how the hook & rod setup works. This was when I was building my front BJ Beam.

If I did it again, Id run a limit strap to softly stop the action. And only one hook to stop up travel.

The constant chatter from the bottom hook hitting is a bit annoying.

A note on limit straps. For every foot they stretch half an inch. This must be factored in when ordering the length.
