| Roof rack. All metal. That was a pre wooden slats model, correct? How is it secured to the body?? Thnks |

| On the all metal vw bug roof rack that I have from the bottom side rails there are 4 small arms ( 2 on each side) that if I remember correctly attach to the top edge of the roof with a pinch like clamp. It is buried in my attic but if I get up there in the near future I will add more info if found. |
