That‘s exactly what „Singer“ do with the Porsche 911 models.
There was a real hype the last years, with these Porsche reimagination / retrofits.
Even here in Germany, everyone wanted their Porsche in „Singer Style“
But the prices for such a car were horrible expensive. evil:
Seems that someone is now riding this wave with the VW Bugs.
Nevertheless, these new Baja bugs aren’t looking so bad.
But in my opinion, it will be a complete different type of group. |

they look nice but with no price mentioned I'm thinking high - and probably higher if you sound like you could afford it and they could pull it off... _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

Other than the LED headlamps, they don't look to be any more modern than the Bajas that've been running around for many decades. At least most Baja builders have the sense to install a cage around the engine. Not sure how they'd justify a "high five to six figures" price tag from what I'm seeing there.
Wouldn't this be more appropriately posted in the HBB Off-Road section? _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |
