I'm thinking of redoing the interior of my '93 Westy with a wider bed and newer appliances. Any idea what a complete interior (minus the swivel seats & pop top) might be worth? |

For clarity's sake, would I be correct in saying you're trying to determine the value of the wardrobe cabinetry, rocker seat /bed & frame w/ slider wheels that go in tracks, top-load refrigerator, gas stove top/sink combo with galley lid, and lower kitchen cabinetry, interior trim panels from the B pillar backwards, and curtains, all of which currently exist in your Wesfalia camper (aka California if from Europe) ... if removed? _________________ -2003 EV MV Wk - Forest - 51k

You will also have to remove the rails in the floor that go with the bed/seat, the water tank and plumbing, the auxiliary battery, charger, solenoid and wiring harnesses (including the display panel above the dash and wiring). Alll of that will be needed by anyone buying your tuff who wants to create the west in a van that started as a weekender or mv.
You'll be starting with an empty van with swivel seats.
I'd consider selling the camper as is complete and buying a weekender or mv and modifying that, if i was firm on having a VW. But if you are considering such a major renovation and rebuild, why not consider a newer van as the starting empty vessel? _________________ Steve in Nova Scotia
