I have 12 x 1.5 screw in lugs in my brake drums. I would like to drive in the knurled lugs. Can I just drive them in? OR, do I need to drill them bigger? OR, are the holes already too big to drive them in?
I guess if the hole is too big already, I could jump up to 14's??? Question
Thanks in advance gents!
Chaz

Buddy had terrible experience with screw in EMPI studs years ago.... They were soft and threads were damage easily.... Out of 20 studs maybe 15 failed in one way or another....

Really it's all about getting the right studs....

Its about machining a flat surface on inside surface of drum for head to seat.... Hint "piloted end mill"

Metric studs start at section 10, page 160... Metric lug nuts start at section 10 page i83...
