I recently purchase a '63 sedan. I no nothing of it's history. Bought from a dealer. It has drum brakes all around and a Performance drop spindles I see. My question is where to buy Disc upgrade kit for it. Kits I found not for bug with drop spindles already installed. Am I going to have to pay extra for kits that include drop spindles? That or I'll just stay with the drums. Thanks.. |

CSP should make a disc conversion kit for you that will work, but you'll want to measure the diameter of the spindle to be sure you order the right kit. Their kits are expensive, but you won't find better quality or a more complete kit.
CIP1 is the North American distributor. This kit might be what you''re looking for. On sale now for their 4th of July holiday promo:

Thank you for reply. Guess that would fit, but at that price I'll stay with drums. |

Hobug did you order the suggested dual master cylinder with Disc kit? Has a top reservoir instead of remote. Do you have to remove wheel, if it needs to be topped off? Thanks again John They have a discount of 15% till 07/07... |

I've run the so cal disc kit with a stock master and it worked fine, but it does feel better with a dual circuit master. I used a real dual master with a 67 reservoir from Wolfsburg west so I wouldn't have to fill through the wheel well. _________________ modok wrote:
