Peanut Turn signal seal

Trying to fit new seals to my 61 peanuts. Wolfsburg west seals just seem too short . Or is it me? Anyone replace theirs lately? TIA

gota stretch it some first . to fit around the peanut then set it in place . then its snug to the peanut to keep water out .

Well that was dumb on my part. Couldn’t be simpler. Thanks my3bugs - that worked.I was trying to stretch them on the car but it worked so much better to take them off and fit them.
