Hi I'm hoping someone can help me.
When I'm driving along, if doing speeds under 35 all is good.
When i get up to 40 there is a loud rattling/banging noise.
Still drives fine and no issues with gears
It has a dry clutch too.
Anyone had this issue and if so what was it?
Thanks
Louise

Does it increase with RPM ?
Only when going over a bump/pot hole ?
Does pushing/pulling on fanshroud help ?

Trying to help ... stay safe

Hi thanks for the reply. It's worse with higher rpm.
No problems with going over potholes etc.
Going to take her out again tomorrow so will try pushing dan shroud to see if that works.

If I get on the accelerator and rev it does it only at high revs.

Thanks for more info ...

If occurs at higher revs I'm thinking maybe look at :

Transaxle mounts
CV bolts
Rear bearings
Verify lug nut torque
Axle nut torque
Loose fan belt/pulley
Tire problems

REALLY stretching for possibles ... stay safe

Turns out it was the flex plate.
The bolts that had been used were shocking and the main bolt was not torqued!!
