Trying to do alternator conversion cannot seem to find how to bypass this model of regulator
Do I just tie in the green and blue, leave the brown ground alone but then where do I tie the red wire into as all others had 2 in the regulator?

The above pic would be for an internally regulated Alternator.
Sunbug, please post a pic of the alt you are installing. Then we can advise you on the correct way to wire your new alt. _________________ I have learned over the years.

Then bypass that regulator you posted and fallow the diagram above or search for a conversion wiring diagram online. I think J-bugs has one on their website. _________________ I have learned over the years.
