Susquehanna Valley Vanagon Club Presents:
* Vanagons In the Valley 15 *
July 9th-14th, 2025
We are all super excited to spend time with our VW family!
This event is open to ALL Volkswagen Buses, Vanagons, all VW campers, and all other vintage air cooled VW cars. (Other vehicles will be parked in a separate parking area)
Come early!
Arrive anytime Wednesday after 10am July 9th and stay until Monday the 14th.
$20 per night per vehicle.
Wednesday 10am- Arrive set up camp and relax!
Thursday Evening- open Jam at someone's campfire bring your instruments.
Friday night - three sets of live acoustic entertainment provided The Tumbled Down Shack, Jonathan Ingles and the VIV Riverfront All Stars jam band.
Saturday 10am - Kayak Trip down the river so bring your kayaks or tubes if you have them! Meet at the Boat ramp at 10am SHARP so we can load up the boats and hit the water upstream about 11. *** Talk to Matt or Bonnie prior to Saturday, last year everyone found their own transport, so we didn't need a big trailer. ***
Saturday Evening 6pm- Door prizes, 50/50 and raffle. Same goes as last year... ***all buses will receive a door prize from a vendor*** and... if you bring and donate a prize / gift you get a ticket to receive a prize / gift. It gets interesting to see what people bring and donate. It definitely makes for a fun time so bring something if you can.
Saturday evening 7pm- Kirin Clay opening set then FrankCo Penn Bluegrass
WE WILL HAVE ICE CREAM SATURDAY NIGHT - Provided by "The Igloo" out of Chambersburg, PA.
50/50 will be available from Wednesday until 6pm on Saturday evening.
As always fire wood will be for sale from the campground.
This event is non-profit and all the proceeds get distributed out for the cost of the entire event. ... porta-pots, band, campground, stickers..... ect.
Please keep in mind this is a family friendly/kid-friendly event!
Pets are welcome, state law requires they be leashed. Please do not bring your dog if it behaves aggressively.
There are only a few electric sites in our camp area and they are 1st come 1st served. If you must have electric for health reasons (sleep apnea machines...ect.) please bring an extension cord.
No Air Conditioners of any kind are permitted due to the strain on the campgrounds electric service (not enough amps to run A/C)
There is one shower/ bath house at the opposite end of the camp ground it is sorta crude but serves its purpose.
We will have 6 porta johns with wash stations in our camp area for your convenience.
No Need to register with the campground - just keep driving in till you see the Vanagons In the Valley banner between the trees.
Please don't arrive before Wednesday at 10am.
Lastly, Please be courteous to your neighboring campers and if you must leave early, please park accordingly. Thanks we hope to see many smiling faces at Vanagons in the valley this year!
