im looking for archived info of a blog i wrote on the old splitwindow and vintagebus mail lists on type2.com c1997-2000ish
i took my 68 westy from California to Florida and lived in it while finishing school. Then after two years, i took a 61 kombi from Florida to California to Missouri. posts to the list would have had references to "our hero" (anti-hero third person) traveling, breakdowns, repairs and ocasionsl musings along the way. type2 server crashed so there are no archives at the site but if remembers my tagline...some key words would have been Ken Alford makaha hawaii 67 bug geco812 61kombi 68westy labmission_at_juno_dot_com labmission_at_yahoo_com

i was on vw webrings as well
