I have a 1976 westfalia bus that I am redoing the hoses for the windshield washer. Looking at the reservoir where the hose is supposed to go it looks like to me there is supposed to be some sort of cap that screws on that helps hold hose on. Is that true? I see the nipple but it seems awfully short and it looks like there are threads there. Any help in letting me know if there is and if so any leads on getting one? Thanks

Yes, there is (was) a little hollow nut that screwed over the connection to secure the hose, any model VW with the pneumatic washer has one, look out for a donor at swaps, or in the classifieds: https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/search.php...ton=Search
