Having an issue with front drivers side seat not holding in place and then sliding all the way back on the rails. Have taken the seat off and questioning now - should there be something at the end of the rail to stop the seat running all the way back ? And, teeth that are supposed to hold the seat in preferred place appear worn - is there a suggestion on repairing or replacing those ?
Thanks

The seat rails normally have stop tabs at the back end. But sometimes people cut them off, e.g. when modding the seats to slide back a little farther.

In any case, also looks like somebody has totally trashed some of the seat stop “teeth” on your rail. You can try bending them back straight as possible, but still might not be enough to make them work right.

Only other option I can think of would be to cut out the old seat rail(s), and then weld in new seat rail(s).
