I recently purchased this 57 Beetle from So Cal. The PO unfortunately passed away last year, and the family did not know much about the car. From what see the build was VERY well done. Top shelf parts across the board. It looks like a factory rag top. The paint looks about eight to ten years old. The interior is pristine. I was told the engine was rebuilt in the past year or two, and it looks like it is "built".
If anyone knows anything about the car, I would appreciate any history on it.

So I did find some history on the car.
The build was done by a DBK member named Aldo in about 2007/2008. It's a beautiful build.

It looks like it was sold by OldBug.com to someone in Texas, who then sold it to the family I bought it from???
