Jamies hitches and 72 - 74 style exhaust

HelloooO, hoping to find some insight on Jamies hitches and the proper exhaust . I have a 78 late bay in process of installing cooling tin and 72 - 74 style heat exchangers. Question's are may one use Jamies late bay hitch with the 72 - 74 ehaust? The conflict being the muffler type to accommonodate installaion of late bay hitch. With out to much conflict. Hope iam not forced to modify the late bay hitch . While installing the earlier Exhaust piping. Or maybe modify early bay hitch inorder to clear what ever may be in the way. Since i have a 78 with go forward to go backward piping and Jamies late bay hitch. Any one see conflicts with muffler? I know many have done the ole switcharoo. Did you guys use extractor type exhaust or OEM stock type muffler? Guidance please., Can not blame a guy for asking right. And again iam very gratefull for shared knowledge this forum and people kind enough guide others.
