Im looking for a pic of the wiring from the steering column through the bulkhead into the frunk. How's it routed? Is it in a loom? Whats the loom material? Is it the smooth viynl or is it braided? Is through a grommet? The original just had a bunch of wire run through a hole drilled by a PO.
If someone with a 69 could grab a couple of happy snaps Id be grateful.
Have a great morning. |

Fom the gallery pages; stated as ยจ78 while to my recollection it is not much different on the earlier '70s, while may be some differences as on especially get closer/into the late 60's.
Multi-pin connectors on the steering column/switch housing, with the harness going throug a grommet close to the fuse box

From my '69:
There was originally a vinyl sheath (factory) over these wires which needed to be cut away when I installed a new turn signal switch. I didn't bother wrapping them since they aren't really visible unless you crawl under the dash. _________________ Tom

It also helps the Hollywood hero in the movies to rip the wires out with his bare hands and instantly find the right two wires to fire up that beast. _________________ 1968 1500 RHD Lotus White Beetle since birth. In the hospital for major surgery
