I think my flapper is missing. Not sure I ever had one but this is the way I got it back from the body shop after new heater channels and floor boards were installed. When I asked about it, all they gave me was the body shop shrug. To clarify, that y tube is disconnected and propped up on the floor board for the photo. I found that cable hooked onto a small cross member inside the tube (maybe a vent connection pivot point?). That cable is connected to the left lever with the white knob (airflow only?). The cable runs through the trans channel to a steel tube offshoot which has a welding tab although it is unattached. The cable sits inside the tube. The red knob cable is not visible but I can hear it operating a vent somewhere behind the back firewall. So, what does the vent flapper look like? Where to find one? Do I really need it? Where’s the weld point for that cable tube? Any and all info is most helpful. Thanks all.
