In my 36hp, the generator pulley is 98mm. My 6v generator is from a 1960 so thats a 40hp.
Would anyone recommend using a 40hp pulley at 107mm?
Or the 36hp at 98mm? Im not sure if the newer generator needs to be accommodated for, or the fan cooling is more important _________________ www.tonydegrazia.com

I know people use larger pulleys opposite of the power pulley theory to get better cooling. But you got to be careful not to over drive your fan the can explode. But I don’t really think it’s going to be a issue on a stock 36 horse. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.

Would first figure out if you have a cooling problem EG what is the highest oil temp you are getting to in the summer heat, especially when climbing a long slope uphill. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |
