an r/c beetle and diecast friends

In the background is the 62 beetle I recently acquired that I work on here and there. In the foreground is a toy collection mirroring their full scale big brother (not in year but in Type 1 style). I believe the first is a 1:64 matchbox, then a 1:32 kinsmart, an 1:18 scale Road Tough, and a 1:10 Tamiya radio-controlled kit. Not in the pic is another matchbox and an even smaller 1:87 VW Kafer from Malibu International, will do a photoshoot once more.

Thanks, the r/c car is part of the Tamiya mini chassis kits and this is the M-06 version, rear wheel drive. They also make a split window bus I believe. You install your own steering servo and radio, my kit had the electronic speed control included with the motor so it was easy. Lot of parts, you build the differential and chassis parts and also paint the lexan body from the inside out. Fun hobby I have been into for many years!
