| I've never heard of this, but is there a way to set the static timing my 1600DP while it's still on the engine stand? By using a battery and coil or something? |

Is this points or electronic ignition?
If it's points, yeah that's not hard. Points are just an on off switch and you clip an ohms/continuity meter up to the condenser wire and the rim of the distributor and see when the points change from connected to open... that is the firing point. _________________ Andy T.

| If you don’t have a Bentley manual there are videos on YouTube that will show you how to do it as well. |
