Hey everyone.
At some point in the future I plan to do some embellishments to my interior. Perhaps a center console extending down under the dash to my shifter. Likely a false floor speaker enclosure behind the seats.
When I do these things I’ll want to match existing colours of carpet and vinyl. I I’m pretty sure my interior is after market, and not knowing who the manufacturers of my panels/ carpet are…. Can anyone recommend how I’d go about finding fabrics or vinyl that match?
I’ve heard of fabric spray paint but that seems like maybe it’s a gimmick. Or maybe not.
I’d love to learn from others.
Thanks!

I used a local auto upholster here in Ohio who has an extensive library of sample materials to come up with a satisfactory match.
The shop ended up reupholstering the seats.
I would think Toronto would have a few shops that could assist if you want to use a professional to do the work.
If you are looking for off the shelf kits for a DYI approach check out TMI Interiors Or Sewfine.

https://sewfineproducts.com/
Both make decent kits for KG's and have samples available. |

That’s awesome info. Thanks!!
I’d be after materials that match for use in my projects so an upholsterer that would sell me materials would be ideal. I’ll look for one in my area!
