Has anybody managed to create a good warmup enrichment setup for a Megasquirt MS2 on an air-cooled VW? I my case a 1.8 l Type 4 with the stock temperature sensor in the cylinder head.

Once warmed up, it runs like a charm, so it is only the warm up I am struggling with.

If so, I am very curious to see your settings.

Hi,

Can you post the msq file to see how is everything running?

I have a 2109cc Turbo Beetle since 2015 runs great. Idles great, too. Start by looking at the WUE graph. Also, Tunerstudio has WUE autotune which leaves you in the ballpark. I used it just to see how it works but I prefer to tune WUE myself.

Also, you can post in the msextra.com forum to expand your answers.

It took me quite a while but I did get a pretty decent warmup for the 1.7 T4. I am using Mario's CHT sensor in the stock FI CHT location. Post up your graphs and/or logs so everyone can see where you are at right now. I assume you have a Wideband?
