I got these intakes with a set of Dellorto 36 DRLA Carbs I recently purchased.
Can anyone help identify them, they have extra meat on the cylinder head port roof side and some weird casting numbers.
They measure about 160 mm tall and appear to be straight non offset manifolds

These are the manifolds of the 40mm Italian Weber “kit svelto”, consisting of: manifolds, 2 40cc idfs, dedicated filters and lever

As written above they are from a kit svelto from vw italy importer autogerma sold only in italy.

AFAIK the only weber kit you could get from vw (autogerma).

They offered 2 kits - 36idf for 1300cc engines and 40 idf for 1600cc.

Yes, it is original Italian dual carb setup.

One is currently for sale here: https://www.subito.it/accessori-auto/kit-svelto-weber-da-36-agrigento-619271924.htm

It looks to be very vintage by the look of air filters. Very Happy

Thanks for the answers all, I wonder how they landed up in South Africa.
A pair of genuine Italian Dellorto 36 DRLA carbs came with the manifolds.

I am going to fill the horribly ported head end mouths with a suitable epoxy and return them to a stockish size port.
