Hi Guys
Just brought a pair of Dellorto DRLA 36s to go on my 1300 dual port . Only reason for it being a 1300 is it’s a classic trials car and can’t go over 1300cc.
Does anyone have any idea on jetting sizes . It’s a standard 1300 with dual port heads and a Bus cam from gene berg .
Also will a standard fuel pump work or do I need to consider going electric.
Vaccum dizzy?
That’s in advance for any help

I can't help with the jetting on an engine that small. Lol.
On the fuel pump, the standard pump should be ok as long as you verify the fuel pressure is below 3.5PSI. Otherwise, you'll need something like a Carter low pressure fuel pump to do the deed.
I currently have a Bosch 010 distributer in my twin port 1679cc 67 beetle. _________________ I have learned over the years.

A bus cam... Thats probably an Engle/Berg W100.
I hope you raised the compression ratio somewhat, or it will be a bit of a dawg.
That said, you want the smallest venturi´s you can get for them, which is 27 mm.
Idle, probably 55
# 2 E tubes
180 air
115 main.
Since it is a track car the SVDA is probably "overkill" unless you do a lot of in between stuff (Regular driving) If you want to go SVDA a good starting point would be a 043 905 205 or 205L. Then adjust the curve to what your engine wants. _________________ https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=435993 |

I had a pair on a 1200 Okrasa (dual port) 36hp engine.
Jets were very similar to what Alstrup posted, but I had Jaycee fabricate 25mm vents

That’s for the advice guys , didnt build or commission the engine so just have to hope the guy who did knew what he was doing with regards to compression ratios
Will just have to wait for the carbs and see if we are anywhere close to those jet sizes or if not will have to get an order in |
