Would like to know the "real" 1949 Beetle colors.Car is from June '49,Export Model.The research I've been made is contraditory.Thanks.

Hi. My car it's a april 1949 Split Standard. The color is L21 Pearl Grey.
The colors for 1948-49 are:
-From 1948-1949 (chassis 1-0106635): (sorry, french)
-Vert Pastel L11
-Vert Moyen L13
-Vert Réséda L14
-Gris Perle L21
-Gris Argent L23
-Bleu Foncé L32
-Noir L41
-Rouge Bordeaux L51

-From 1949 (chassis 1-0106635--Final 1949)
-Berlines:
-Vert Pastel L11
-Vert Moyen L13
-Vert Réséda L14
-Gris Argent L23
-Bleu Foncé L32
-Noir L41
-Rouge Corail L50
-Rouge Bordeaux L51
-Brun Moyen L70
-Beige L71
-Beige Marron L76

This is the colors for the sedans. If you need the colors for the cabriolets, just let me know.
