Is it possible -reasonably anyway, to fit a barndoor 3 spoke steering wheel to a '62 bus?

Cheers,

Rob

ya as far as i know, as long as you use the late style that is keyed. the early wheels were splined like a bug.

Rob, did you see the wheel on my bus at the Michigan show this summer?

it is a bolt on if you use a '53-'55 wheel. the '50-'52 wheel is splined like a beetle wheel. I actually used a '52 wheel and had the hub machined for it. somehow, by the time I was done with the project, I had $350 into my steering wheel.

$75.00 of that $350.00 was the smokin deal you got on the machine work. Just kidding lind. The wheel looks cool. Glad I could help.
