They always had thousands of parts for sale, but who made the parts for them? And are NOS JSC parts in packages worth anything?

Probibly numerous vendors.

And I doubt NOS JSC parts are worth much.

I have seen many NOS JSC parts at Pomona. It's like several guys bought out the whole inventory and they're still trying to sell it. Rolling Eyes

The JSC stuff isn't really any worse, nor is it any better, than the other Taiwanese/Chinese/wherethef**kever) stuff out there. As far as any type of collectibility, I've seen stranger things happen in the hobby, but, for the most part, you can barely GIVE the old "Johnny's Flake & Peel" stuff away.

Sure, Terry, but that was Autocraft and Vertex stuff, and you knew it. I think this guy is talking about stuff that was made FOR JSC, not stuff that they just re-bubbble wrapped with their logo on the back...

I didn't know you guys were that old. I never needed any thing that came in bubble wrap for a VW. The FASTEST VW parts are from Riverside Calif. except for Reed, Berg,Kawell, Logerot,Pauter, or maybe Trembley the Calif. Sting. Terry

Terry, after having breakfast with me a few weeks ago, you know what a "Colossal old Fossil" I am..... Cool
I still remember buying parts that were vacuum-packed on Orange and Blue cardboard, some company in Riverside, on Roberta Street, or something.... Cool Cool

I talk to Mark last month and he knows and helped builded my son-in-laws VW motor. Thats the "VW Motor" that the only thing VW is the distribtor drive. I bought his Hilborn Injection system in the 70s. Mark worked for the Putt Putt Shop in SD. in the 60s. Terry

Hey, the windshield of my '67 came from Johnnie's. Hope I don't ever have to find out that it is low quality Shocked (face first that is)

Boy that was not that long ago, maybe in '96? I don't think they even had the off ramp for the 5 FWY at Beach Blvd. back then.

The off ramp was called Manchester not Beach. You had to drive the frontage road and turn left on Beach. I always stopped at the Porsche dealer first. Wink
