I'm fixing up the bumpers on my car ( a '69) - they are in quite good shape - they don't need rechroming yet. The insides are starting to rust though, so I'm just going to paint them silver, polish up the chrome and replace the rubber parts etc. I'd also like to replace the bolts with new ones. Anybody know where I might get these - any hardware store? or are they a unique size?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

They are a metric nut and bolt, with a 13mm nut and a carriage head bolt. Any good fastener store should have them. Don't waste your time at the home depot or ace. I would look for cad plated if its available.

KGPR stocks a complete bumper mounting kit with all new bolts, nuts, bushings, etc. They also have a rubber kit to replace those parts as well.
