Found by VW Howard over 10 years ago in a swimming pool. Pics taken by me around 8 years ago. See gallery to see what happened to this BD _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

| Now for the worst part. If it was a small door he installed figure $250-$300 in labor dollars and roughly the same for the door. This guy will probably put a rack on it and use it to haul doors around until the roof caves in. May even use the roof as a platfrom for larger commercial doors. True bummer. |

don't sell yourself out too quick... while i'm not a teacher (well, ok, I am teaching a class currently at the university in town this term), once, I went to a parent teacher conference and this person comes up to me and says 'hi, I know you're into VWs and I found these hub caps in my garage when I moved in and I figured You of anyone could use them... and then gave me a bag with some nice pieces in it... free. Mind you, this has happened more than once from people I absolutely don't know.(!) It's nice to live in a small town.
You just need to consistently let all your students know you're into VWs. Someday, somewhere, someone..... _________________ Sounding like a broken record as to why You should be measuring protein during harvest in order to better your agronomic practices. |

Oh trust me, the students know! I did have a maintenance guy once give me a box of bug parts...it wasn't a whole lot I could use, but it was still nice of him.

Once it's known you're a VW person, every now and then stuff like that will find you. One of our HVAC techs used to have a dune buggy, and gave me a bunch of good engine parts when he sold it...every now and then you get lucky... _________________ <---Air Cooled Search & Rescue Team - STICKERS & T-shirts for sale!

I get people in the store all the time giving me stuff. Today I was given a set of bay middle seats, a couple weeks ago I was given 1000's of $$$ worth of old school speed goodies. Turn down at least one beetle a week and have gotten over 20 bays for free.
I now turn parts down as I have no place to store them _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

anytime you need to unload some goodies, let me know. I'm sure I could find good uses for 'em. |
