I purchased this 1963 Sunroof Notchback
"S" from the original owner in Southern California on July 10, 1999.
It is now my Daily Driver.
History
Purchased new in 1964 at a dealership in Germany
Used by the original owner in Germany while in the Armed Forces until 1967
Brought into the United States in 1967.
Used as daily driver until 1999, when I bought it.
I have been using it as a daily driver for the past ~9000 miles, 50 miles/day

Push button dash replaced - it burned up and was replaced with '65 style knobs by the
local VW dealer
(I have a replacement push-button dash)
