	Volkswagen Type 3 Technical Manual Henry Elfrink Henry Elfrink Automotive	The one that says "Volkswagen 1500 & 1600 Technical manual"  (Elfrink01.jpg) is the 1st edition, copyright 1966 (304 pages with the 1966 wiring diagram in the back--this is the only foldout diagram in the book).  The Elfrink picture that says "Volkswagen 1600 Technical Manual" (Elfrink02.jpg) on the cover is the 2nd enlarged edition, copyright 1969 (328 pages with the 1966 wiring diagram in color, 1967 wiring diagram in B&W, color coded chassis diagram showing the various lines and guide tubes).  The one that says "Volkswagen type 3 technical manual" (Elfrink03.jpg) on the cover is the 3rd enlarged edition, copyright 1971 (360 pages, 1966 color wiring diagram, 1967 B&W wiring diagram, color chassis diagram with lines and guide tubes, and 1971 wiring diagram w/FI engine).

	VW 1600 Guide Bill Stone Sports Car Press Ltd. Library of Congress #66-21738	A neat little book.  It has a small section on maintenance but is otherwise a guide on how to drive and keep your 1600.  There is a section on the history of the VW and T3 and an explanation of the various systems at work in the car. There is an accessories section in the back.
	Jetzt Helfe Ich Mir Selbst Dieter Korp.	This is a neat German language Type 3 manual, the title roughly translates to "now I help myself"  Published by  Dieter Korp, copyright 1964, this is the 1967 edition. The front cover has a trouble shooting fold out flow chart.  The back cover has a fold out color wiring diagram. It is for the 1964 1500S model and shows the pushbutton dash.
	Owner's Service Manual Volkswagenwerk	Published in 1966 by Volkswagenwerk Aktiengesellschaft, printed in German  in Nov. 1966.  Uses many of the same pictures in the dealers Workshop Manual. "This manual is technically correct for vehicles manufactured from August 1965 to August 1966 and because Volkswagen believes in the system of progressive refinements instead of frequent radical model changes, most of the details in this book also apply to earlier and later model Volkswagens"
	Intereurope Workshop Manual 139 Intereurope Ltd.	These two manuals are identical in content.  The only difference is the cover.  The 01.jpg is bound in a vinyl cover, while the 02.jpg is paperbound.  They are copyright by Intereurope Ltd, January 1971.
