I`m not a camper guy but I don`t think so. The interior does`nt look familiar and there are tags on the body.

Very cool, I've never seen anything like that. Puts me in mind of some of the British conversions though. Nice!

The top seems a little different than a Westy one. The edges are more angular I believe.

Looks close to my SO-42 Westy but then I am new to owning a real westy. I still have lots to learn.

Yeah it looks similar....some of the storage boxes look the same as well.....if my scanner was working I could upload some nice scans....or you could check it out at Madera...I have a cool ez camper brochure as well but it does not look similar....the top on the T.E.C looks very similar....they were in Gardena California....the model could be model #406 Van...they did Kombi and station wagon (Passenger Microbus) too....nice camper!!

This shot looks interesting. I like the looks of it compared to a later Westy.

It reminds me a shots I have seen of the SO-34 flipseat.

The bed on a SO-34 are against the drivers side though. (I think !! ) Very Happy

I'm no expert, but that's my vote too.
Isn't 61 a little early for either the Sportsmobile or Travel Equipment though?

Will do Bryan...going to camp on Saturday so I'm sure I will run into you sometime on Sunday....the company listed a section in the catalog that all of their kits are pre fabricated as well and ready for slip in to any of the microbus range other than trucks obviously, that is if you wanted to install it yourself in your earlier microbus.....it says to install the kits in earlier than 1964 year models the owner would need to order the adaptor kit #455...it also reads the authorized Volkswagen Dealer can install it in less than five hours and the kit is designed for ease of installation including the pop top. It looks comfy!!!

I have a EZ CAMPER catalog here and their kit was called the "EL Viajero" or in English "The Traveler" .....looks totally different. Also there was a company called FREDOM CAMPER and they made a camper kit as well with the new and exciting "SNOW TOP" looked like a big bubble on the roof...I think Barry down in Huntington Beach sent one over to the U.K..... definatley not the same kit. That camper looks to be in really good condition for its age....must have been carefully stored.

There was a nice (if it's you're cup of tea) dove blue snow top in this forum a couple of weeks ago that the new owner was thinking of converting back to a kombi. Can someone find and post the pics? thanks.
