With some bondo and random holes here, what type of mirrors would be best/easiest to install?

I'm planning on nailing some chrome billboards off a Ford Bronco on mine. So they're ugly. I'm on the inside looking out.

I used aftermarket harley billet mirrors on the fasty, then just adapted them to fit into the factory piece that screws into the door.

How's this for super simple and cheap. The right mirror needs a little more work so I can get enough angle. These could mount to a beetle door with a plate pretty easily....And yah, I'll need to readjust them after whacking bushes.

Cheap "off-road" mirrors from IPC. I wouldn't suggest them for mostly on-road use, but for off-road they're great cuz they won't break and very cheap

I'll answer my own question here... NO, STOCK BEETLE MIRRORS WILL NOT THREAD INTO A KARMANN GHIA MIRROR MOUNT. Beetle mirrors have a much smaller diameter.

Just wasted $25 on a pair of mounts... Anyone looking for a pair of mounts, PM me.

Does anyone know the thread size and pitch for stock beetle mirrors? I have some stainless steel plates mounted on the doors that I am going to thread the mirrors into them instead of using the mounts.
