I want to say that some of those TVRs used Beetle front suspension bits. So that pic may have VW content.

Yep. The sign mentioned the Griffith name was used here in the states, without the TVR designation.

I think only the mk1 & mk2 granturas had vw based supension. looks like they repeated the front suspension for the rear.
