my wife worked on that film costuming the extras
she said the lot of cars was lots of big american cars and talked to the 'auto wrangler' about his job
i don't know if cars for movies are sourced locally anymore or the are just shipped in from afar. i can recall a couple places in new england that rented cars for movies and they are no longer. I know of a few VW folks that have had their cars in julia and other movies/shows but haven't heard through the grapevine about anyone i know with a car in this movie. |

We usually get an "all call" post on a couple of local media sites when film companies are looking for background vehicles of a certain age. A number of my family's cars have been background for anything in the 70's (Volvo 145E, MG BGT, Emily, Mercedes 190 and my dad's MG ragtop... we're the family with no American Iron so we're filler. Rarely see them in anything, so most likely cutting room floor. Although Emily made it into a street scene on Grimm with my friend's Jeep _________________ Xargaret
