While the rest of the bus market falls flat on it's face, it's nice to see the Jersey Looker market staying Jersey Strong. _________________ Extravagant Lifestyle

It’s both bizarre and unfair that you can get stopped and ticketed by the police for having a blown tail light but not even warrant so much as a dropped doughnut for either installing or driving a vehicle with a porthole... |

Don't you know the real reason so many Jersey busses and vans had port hole style windows installed back in the day? Even the fishmarket van had to have them! Not for looks or visibility, but for access to All routes. _________________ "A life of peace and happiness depends on your own gratefulness" |

This is the best thread on this whole site, thanks whoever brought it back to the top! I've always loved 70s custom vans. I'm kinda bummed that my 67 had never had it's arches cut, I have the perfect set of staggered slot mags in my shed but don't have the heart to hack it after it's survived all these years with quarters intact. I did find evidence of an airbrushed mural on the back hatch, but unfortunately there wasn't enough left to save. _________________ 1973 Superbeetle: 1st car, owned since age 12. I peered into one of those port holes back in the day. It was all asses and elbows. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

As an ex-Pennsylvanian, man those PA tags are so blah.
Awesome van though, I hope there is a WaWa bag with a Philly pretzel in the passenger seat
