I will be traveling to Dallas, TX from Los Angeles in a 1989 Vanagon with a Subaru conversion. In case of emergency I would like to locate repair shops along the way from Los Angeles through Tucson, El Paso and Dallas.

There are a couple of shops I can suggest if you find you need help in Tucson though I don't know if they would do engine work on a Subaru conversion.

Enjoy your trip. It's been a wetter than usual winter here and the desert is spectacularly in bloom with wildflowers.
