That patina does look great. I kinda wish the PO on Tilda has just left the paint as is in Texas Yellow, instead of the sunshine yellow respray. Went through the light assemblies and cleaned them... i also used a bit of regular car hand polish on the internals to improve the brightness...
unfortunately there were areas that were beyond what cleaning and polishing would help so I just used a bit of shiny aluminum tape and this actually works well!
Yes I could have used a aggressive method by sanding and polishing but this took about 10 minutes...
The pic on the left is after the initial cleaning and car polish...
