So which apron does a 60 come with? I've seen 60's with either, which apron is correct?

Depends on month of production...so either can be correct.
Very early 60's used 4 finger
The majority of 60's used a 3 finger.

They are refering to the front apron, that has finger like indentations pressed into it. |

Finger is front.. H is rear..
4 Finger up to early 60 ish
3 Finger early 60 - early-mid 61 ish
2 Finger early 61 - 67

Does anyone know what happened to Mats W? Last time he was on was 2015, and I was trying to contact him to talk about his black stock 1960 beetle. (he had the original Fur Grey cloth & vinyl seats.) - Last I heard there was possibly a fire in the barn that he had his cars in. Would really like to find out if he is still around. - thanks. |
