judging from pics- REAL ! the rather semi gloss/matte outer surface, not highly polished. the little indentations on the perimeter (probably throw out pins in the mold). correct part#.
These were used, not only on 53 up barndoor bus taillights, but also used on other Hella lights, like add on tractor or trailer lights.
I had several of these in round, cup shape housings. the housing and ring were painted black.
Those lenses are identical on VW and aftermarket applications. They are a beautiful industrial design and really long lasting plastic. you hardly see one cracked or discolored even after decades in the open.
