I picked this up years ago from the local vet but still have the pictures. It is gone now since it was only cardboard, but pretty neat little thing.
I posted a picture earlier of "Tabby" my orange cat in my pearl white 63. She passed a couple weeks ago at the age of 17
What a wonderful full life she had. I got her at 9 weeks old where she jumped into my arms. She died laying next to me in bed right where she wanted to be.
Any more current pictures I have of her are not VW related....Outside was just too scary and cold as she got old.

Cool Inspector. Is that a type 3? I'm not that familiar with them. I see the front end suspension mounts out at the sides of the front end. Does it also bolt to the pan at the center, like a bug/Ghia? _________________ Prosit!

His name is Oliver - but about two weeks after naming him that I thought "I should have named him Marchal!" _________________ '60 Canadian Standard, '64 Bug, '66 Bug, '66 Bus, '69 Sunroof Bug, '71 Super, '72 Super, '73 Canadian Custom, '73 Super, '74 Love Bug, '83 Mexi Bug, '94 Mexi Bug, '99 New Beetle, '02 New Beetle Turbo S. Over the Easter weekend, host Derek Bieri released a new YouTube video on a blue '74 Standard Beetle, in his channel "Vice Grip Garage". He admits that it's the first time he's ever looked at one, much less trying to get one running. In Part 1 he struggles to do basic adjustments on the unmolested 1600 dual-port engine, doing all by visual examination and the mechanical logic he's amassed from reviving dozens of older mostly American cars. Stickers on the Beetle show it last running in the late 1980's...
He has 2 cats in his large shop which took an interest to the Beetle.

I really like Derek and watch his videos weekly. I think it's his mixture of family values, offbeat humor, and animals roaming the shop that keep me viewing. It was fun to watch him work through the most foreign engine he'd ever worked on with the beetle. |

Every VW enthusiast must have been yelling at the video. Can’t wait for the follow up video. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far
