Hey guys I thought my oil sending sensor was not grounded so I removed it to clean up all the Teflon tape that somebody put on. There was a long spring and only a couple drops of oil in there. Shouldn't this be pouring oil?

That doesn’t appear to be the stock location.
If it reaches to a pressurized galley it wouldn’t pour oil unless the engine is running.
The sender does need the engine case to provide ground, so you’re right to remove the Teflon.
